  • Chicken egg (+ some milk. Breading) - 2 pieces
  • Bread Rusks / Breading (Breading) - 100 g
  • Coconut chips (breading) - 100 g
  • Rice (Aquatic (mix of brown, red and wild rice). Garnish) - 250 g
  • Carrots (Garnish) - 1 pc
  • Onion (Garnish) - 1 pc
  • Olive oil (for roasting)

Recipe "Fish patties in coconut breading":

Boil the potatoes, ceiling and cool. Mince fish fillets, mix with mashed potatoes, add butter, soy sauce, garlic, chili pepper, green onion and coriander, mix everything.

Boil rice according to package instructions. At the same time fry finely chopped onions and carrots in olive oil. After the rice is ready, mix it with onions and carrots, put it in a warm place so that the side dish is hot.

From the minced fish to form a small rounded patties, roll each in flour. Remove to cold for 15 minutes.

Recipe for making meatballs:

Fish (cod, pollock or any other non-bony) cut into fillets with skin. Remove the bones, cut the fillets into pieces and skip through a meat grinder with a fine grate.

Cabbage thinly chop, put in a bowl and pour boiling water. Let stand about 30 minutes. Then throw it in a colander, squeeze well to remove maximum moisture from it. Separately, sauté the finely chopped onion in the oil.

In a bowl, mix the minced fish with cabbage, salt and pepper to taste, add browned onions. Then pour melted butter and add the egg. Thoroughly knead, to get a uniform meat for meatballs.

From the cabbage and fish mince shape small patties.

Put on the stove pan, heat the vegetable oil for frying. Roll each cutlet in flour and fry over medium heat.

Turn to the other side, cover with a lid and fry for a few more minutes. During this time, the fish will have time to fully fry, and the cabbage will be slightly crunchy. If you want the cabbage not to crunch, then cook the chops longer. Choose garnish for fish cabbage chops to your liking.

In a frying pan with non-stick coating, pour coconut oil and heat it over medium heat. If you do not have coconut oil, you can also use olive oil. Use a tablespoon of minced fish to form patties and fry until golden brown on both sides.

Wash the zucchini and chop finely. Heat the coconut milk in a small saucepan over medium heat and simmer the zucchini in it. Season with salt and pepper.

For serving, place the patties and zucchini on a plate. Cut the tomatoes, garnish with parsley and serve. Enjoy your meal!
